Dr. Ralph El Jalbout is a professional with expertise in both medicine and international affairs, holding a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University with a focus on International Security Policy and Conflict Resolution. His educational background is complemented by a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Balamand, where he laid a strong foundation in medical sciences.

Dr. Jalbout has applied his analytical skills to both clinical medicine and international affairs research, demonstrating proficiency in systemic analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking. His contributions to medical research are notable, and his involvement in international affairs extends to researching geopolitical dynamics and policy implications, underscoring his capacity to address complex global challenges with a multidisciplinary approach.

At the Center for Sustainable Development’s "Artificial Intelligence & the Future of Work" initiative, under the guidance of Prof. Yanis Ben Amor, Dr. Jalbout contributed to the planning of the initiative's launching event and engaged in discussions about the initiative's direction and goals, helping to explore the intersection of AI with university education and its potential complementarity.  Dr Jalbout is the liaison with the Task Force on Artificial Intelligence & Macroeconomics, Poverty & Inequity
