This study provides analysis of the key factors that indicate the productivity and health of the ecosystem, including the spatial distribution of soil, land use and land cover, and vegetation conditions across the watershed. These indicators provide a basis for determining the availability of key ecosystem services that contribute to human well-being. Such services include water purification, stabilization and rehabilitation of soil, and production of food, fuel and fiber.
